In addition to our CME activities, when you review a case on Figure 1, you can earn free CME credits. Simply review a case and answer three questions on how the case will impact your practice to earn CME credits. That’s more than 100,000 chances for credits — all for free.

What is online CME?
CME stands for continuing medical education and is designed to help healthcare professionals stay on top of the latest developments in medical care.

Why are CME credits important?
CME credits prove that you have participated in continuing medical education activities and can be used to meet requirements of medical boards, associations, hospitals, and other professional groups. 

How do I get CME credits online with Figure 1?
Once you become a verified member of Figure 1, you gain access to our growing library of continuing medical education activities in our CME & Education Center. Activity credits for Figure 1 activities are available to U.S. physicians, nurses, and physician assistants, but all healthcare professionals are welcome to view and complete the activities.

We also offer the opportunity for U.S. physicians to earn free CME credits by reviewing a Figure 1 case and answering three questions on how the case will impact their practice.

Is Figure 1’s free CME accredited?
Yes, the activities and case-based CME opportunities through Figure 1 are accredited in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education and qualify for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Some of our activities are also accredited by ANCC and AAPA.

How do I earn CME credit through Figure 1? 
There are two ways to earn free CME credits through Figure 1.

  1. CME activities in the CME & Education Center: Participate in a CME activity and complete a short post-test. Credits for Figure 1 activities are available to U.S. physicians, nurses, and physician assistants (see the first slide of an activity for details).
  2. Case-based CME opportunities: Review a case in Figure 1 and answer three simple questions. Credits are available to U.S. physicians.

How can I access CME certificates?
You can download your CME certificate in the Figure 1 app from the Completed CME tab in the CME & Education Center.

How do I know if I’m eligible for CME?
All Figure 1 members are welcome to complete CME activities within the CME & Education Center. CME credits through Figure 1 activities are currently available for U.S. physicians and physician assistants only.
